s’Hertogenbosch – Indoor Brabant – Royal Rubin Breathes World Cup-Air
Although Rudi didn't start in the World Cup but in the so-called Grand Prix B, the whole tournament gave all the participants a sense of "finals-atmosphere live". With place 8 in the Grand Prix the 10-year-old Saxony breed proved once again that international performances fit well into his current tournament schedule. In the Grand Prix Special they came ninth.

Tournament in Gänsefurth near Magdeburg
Actuado, St.Tropez and Fürst Bismarck rode towards Magdeburg on Thursday already – the schedule provided Mayke Liebregts and Heike with some interesting tests. Due to a little accident with the lorry both arrived shortly before the M-dressage ended, but nonetheless Actuado could still start. Place 6 was the final result. In the St.-Georges he and Heike came second, and with St.Tropez she even won the test. In the S-dressage Fürst Bismarck and Mayke were beaten by 5 points and gained a fabulous second place.

From Braunschweig to Berlin - Victories at both Stops
Part of these two tournaments were Actuado, St. Tropez and Fürst Bismarck. Actuado was the first to start in the M10, whereas the other horses were to prove their talent later in the S3. But once again "Acti" let himself be greatly distracted by the going-ons around the arena. Heike gave up. "He lacked the necessary concentration this morning, but I think that we can improve in the next test when he doesn't get so distracted any more by what's happening in the hall", Heike commented on her first start.
The S3 was next on the agenda. Mayke Liebregts, Amselhof's assistant instructor, started with 13-year-old stallion "Fürst Bismarck", sired by Werther with a Columbus xx-mother.The final result was place 5. St. Tropez, 11-year-old gelding of Sion/Gloster, came fourth with Heike. Actuado was good for a pleasant surprise – he won the test almost casually and showed that he likes to perform in front of an audience and – by the way – that he also knows how to concentrate. "In the training at home Acti has made enormous progress. It makes me very happy that he was able to show this here. Maybe he enjoys the "glory" now and keeps the feeling in mind for the next tournaments" was Heike's tongue-in-cheek commentary.
On to Berlin they went. And here as well everything seemed to come easy for Actuado – he won all the tests he entered. And to top it Heike rode her St. Tropez in the big field of competitors for the Prix St.-Georges to place 3, and Mayke came fifth with Fürst Bismarck.08 February 2008
Event for Personal Members of the FN in Winsen/Aller
"The Kladubry breed – past and present" was the topic that Ms. Lenka Gotthardova, head of the Czech national studs Kladrub and Slatin, lectured on at the "Grooden Hus" in Winsen/Aller. The committed horsewoman impressed upon her listeners how breeding politics and aims have changed the race that has existed since 1579.

"Training Camp" at Amselhof Walle
Zsofia Dallos, daughter of the internationally successful Hungarian dressage rider Gyula Dallos, visited Amselhof with two horses to get some tips from Heike for the coming tournament season. During her two-week-stay the several times Hungarian Junior/Young Rider Champion and eighth of the European Championships for Young Riders concentrated mainly on the progress of her 11-year-old gelding "Druppy" whom she intends to present in national and international tests soon. But also her 8-year-old Bavarian newcomer "Anno Felix MM" improved visibly in the daily training.
Antje Haeschke, professional rider from Trierweiler-Sirzenich, also came for a repeated visit to train at Amselhof.
