Clinic at Auhof Fernitz in Austria
Following her last clinic at Fernitz Heike will have the chance to examine whether last time’s participants took their „homework“ to heart in the daily training. The group will gather once more on the premises of Ludwig Hoffmann to learn a few more tricks for the coming season.

Late Entry Show at Klosterhof Medingen
In this show 9-year-old stallion Royal Rubin showed his quality once again. He won the Intermediare II easily and placed fifth in his first ever Grand Prix. Quantico came fourth in the St.George and Graf Luckner eighth. Actuado lacked concentration a little and ended his performance in the M 10 with a seventh place.

Equitana 2007 – World Fair of Equestrian Sport opens the Gates in Essen
And of course it schedules another top show. Besides other stars of the scene Heike will make her appearance on march 10th and 17th as part of the “Cavaluna Show”. Heike: “So far I’ve been thinking of taking Royal Rubin along, provided he is in perfect shape. I look very much forward to presenting him to the audience once again”.

„Rudi“ Proves his Show Talent Once Again
„By these two short performances during the Equitana 2007 Rudi became aquainted quite plyfully with the higher Grand Prix movements. Of course we practised one or the other at home already, but we never joined them to a complete freestyle exercise. I think this is a good chance to impress the movements on the horse. You can improvise a lot and don’t have to do exact lines from point to point” said Heike about her two appearances in Essen. Rudi was relaxed and had nerves of steel.”Even the oversized stilt-walkers with their fluttering clothes who crowded the arena didn’t impress him at all. That was pretty convincing.”

Clinic in Hungarian Kaposvár
Situated between Lake Balaton and the Mecsek Mountains ist he town of Kaposvár. Every year a big Wolrd Cup Qualifier takes place here in which a large field of dressage riders goes hunting for points for the final. Heike will give a 3-day-clinic at M/S level here, initiated by Hungarian dressage rider Gyula Dallos, his wife Beata and his daughter Zsofia.

Heike travels to Kladruby
At Czech national stud Kladruby nad Labem Heike will hold a clinic in February. Kladruby is one of the oldest studs in Europe and well known for the renowned Kladruby breed which are particularly popular in baroque riding and in driving.

Chestnut Success in Hoya
Heike and her 20-legged chestnut-Armada were very satisfeid with their performances in this tournament at Federal Riding school Hoya. Quantico started in his first St.George and showed with his fourth place that he must be reckoned with in higher-ranking tests as well. Graf Luckner even secured victory in this test. “He has improved enormously, his entire moves are much more expressive and secure. There is not much left of the show jumper he was when he came to Amselhof, I think” Heike said. Rossetti, who also started in the St.George, did very well and Heike was happy about the small but noticeable progress by the Rubinstein-son. Equally convincing was Royal Rubin in his first performance at Grand Prix level. With the greatest of ease he went through all the difficult movements and took the lead clearly with 850 points. “I really didn’t expect this” Heike said after the test, “although at home he did go through the movements very reliably already, but that he can manage just as easily in a show does make me very happy” Actuado on the other hand presented himself rather distracted in both M-tests. “Today he showed more interest in his surroundings than his rider. I think it will be totally different the next start. The horses move on with every show so that I’m not afraid that this will become permanent” explained Heike.

Land Rover Forum in Nuremberg and Anzing
„Daily training and the relaxed dealing with the horse“ – once again this was Heike’s subject for two vivid and amusing presentations. This time down south. Along with trainer Karsten Huck who as show jumping expert lectured on training and systematic gymnastic, Heike talked about how she structures the everyday life of her horses on Amselhof.

Dressage Clinic in Austria - Graz
Right in January travelling for teaching’s sake started again for Heike. On Auhof-Fernitz near Graz, owned by Mr. Ludwig Hoffmann, she gave 12 riders a deeper understanding of the dressage movements from S-level to Grand Prix. The clinic focussed on exact preparation, getting there, correct execution and the course of movements within a test. “All of the participants were very, very well prepared so that we were able to build up on the training-level at once. We achieved good results from the start, the riders translated everything beautifully and quickly, and I think that it was profitable for everyone. It was also a very hilarious group and if the time permits we let another clinic follow in March or April” Heike said.

Another Late Entry Tournament: RV Sittensen-Königshof
Here as well the Kemmer „Armada of chestnuts“ was quite successful. Second place, third place, fifth place in the M for Actuado and Quantico, plus Graf Luckner’s fourth place in the Prix St.George. A winner was also with them: Royal Rubin won the St.George clearly with a 868 point score.
