The Training: "Variety as a Rule"

Variety in training is of particular importance to Heike: "Variety is my principle".

In addition to daily riding sessions she motivates the show horses and training horses with a combination of work on the double lunge, work in hand, training on the treadmill, free running in hall or paddock and much exercise in fresh air. "Only a well-balanced and content horse can be built up to reach the Grand Prix-league". Amselhof WalleTwice a day the aces are being moved, and the 20x60 riding hall as well as the spacious exterior grounds of Amselhof have much to offer.

The stables are surrounded by two outdoor fields measuring 20x60 and 30x70, a racetrack with drained sub-soil, an outdoor lunging circle, a lunging hall, sand and grass paddocks and mile-long cross country options.

In the afternoons Heike Kemmer is mainly occupied with the training of horses and riders. Teaching and passing on her own experience to talented newcomers or ambitious tournament riders is another passion of hers. At present she works with some dressage riders to gain Grand Prix maturity. Whenever time allows she also gives well-attended courses in Germany and abroad. Heike KemmerMany years of close connecting with dressage and the resulting experience regarding riding and teaching have equipped her with a profound knowledge of the nature of horses which she is happy to convey to others.

Last but not least her own up-and-coming horses profit from these abilities. They are gently fostered by Heike Kemmer and her team, and it can be expected that horses from the Kemmer talent factory will make it to the top of international sports time and time again.
